Exemplar Health Care’s Lepton Heights care home in Huddersfield is recruiting a Health Care Assistant for weekend night shifts. You will support adults with complex care needs to live their best lives, delivering personal care, meal support and wellbeing checks in a compassionate, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

Care experience is not essential, but empathy and a caring approach help.
Willingness to learn and develop through training and induction.
Ability to work as part of a supportive care team.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support with daily activities.
Assist residents at meal times and monitor intake.
Understand and respond to individual health and wellbeing needs.
Encourage participation in social activities inside and outside the home.
Promote choice, dignity, independence and respect.
Complete and maintain care records accurately.

Contract type: 8.00pm - 8.00am or 10.00pm - 6.00am

Rate: £12.71 per hour
