Job Title:Health Care Assistant Levels 2 and 3
Department: Vents ward
Salary range:£26,485-£29,144 per annum (dependant on NVQ Qualification and experience)
Hours of work:150 hours over a 4 week period (approximately 37.5 hours per week). A long shift is 12 hours.
Contract Type:Permanent full time position, rotating day and night shifts
Location:Putney, Southwest London

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Vents service at the RHN as a Health Care Assistant.You will play a vital role as part of our multidisciplinary team, supporting adults with complex neurological disabilities and long-term care needs. We are looking for compassionate and motivated individuals who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, comfort, and wellbeing. Strong communication skills and effective teamwork are essential. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and be part of a supportive and specialised care environment.

We have a strong commitment at the RHN to support our people’s well-being and development. In 2023, we are proud to introduce our first in-house HCA Development Programme which aims to equip you with the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours to deliver an outstanding level of patient-centred care for patients with complex neurological needs. You will learn about Brain Injury including mental health, dementia and learning disabilities, as well as understanding ‘Quality of Life’ including 1:1 care and escorting.
