Job Description

We are seeking a caring and patient individual to join a dedicated team supporting a young man with complex health needs. The role involves providing personal and medical care, including PEG feeding, medication administration, and supporting mobility and respiratory needs.

About the individual: A male in his 30s, living at home with family, with Cerebral Palsy affecting all four limbs, Epilepsy, and profound learning disabilities. He is non-verbal and shy but has a supportive family and a team of three highly trained PAs.

Responsibilities:

1. Supporting personal and medical care, including PEG feeding and medication administration.
2. Supporting mobility and respiratory needs, with training provided.
3. Getting to know the individual, his family, and the care team.
4. Participating in team meetings and shadowing sessions.

Requirements:

• Unfazed by complex health needs and capable of supporting on a one-to-one basis.
• Full UK driving license and driving the client's vehicle is required.
• Non-smoker.
• Caring, patient, and adaptable personality.

Additional information: Full mandatory and specialised training will be provided. The role is 20 hours per week, including every other weekend, with pay details to be discussed. Overtime opportunities are available.
