Job description

To perform HCA duties in primary care, able to cover opening hours from 8 am to 6:30 pm, either over 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities include ECGs, phlebotomy, health reviews, foot checks, assisting with minor operations, and stock rotation.

About us

The Cambridge Practice is a large practice with two sites. Our HCA team consists of 5 members, and we are looking to employ 2 more experienced HCAs.

Job responsibilities

Ability to work independently, running clinics and performing HCA duties under the supervision of senior staff.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 in Health and Social Care
• Qualified in Phlebotomy
• Qualified to NVQ level 3

Experience

• Experience working within a nursing team
• Experience dealing with vulnerable patients
• Experience in primary care
• Experience working in a GP practice
