Health Care Assistant - Outpatient Clinics

Outpatient Network are looking for Healthcare Assistants to work with us in our Insourcing clinics in different sites across the country.

To assist the Consultant in clinics with basic measurements and data capture. Candidates must have previous experience of having worked in the NHS and only candidates with previous experience will be considered for the role.

Outpatient Network work with various NHS trusts across the country providing additional clinical support to help reduce NHS waiting lists.

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality care in our outpatient clinics. The successful candidate will assist healthcare professionals with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring patients receive safe, efficient, and person-centred care during their visit.

• Assist with patient observations (e.g., blood pressure, temperature, pulse) and routine clinical procedures under supervision
• Prepare consulting rooms and assist clinicians during examinations or minor procedures
• Support patients with mobility, comfort, and basic needs during their clinic visits
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality
• Manage stock levels of clinical supplies and ensure clean, well-organised clinic areas
• Provide reassurance and information to patients and families, ensuring a positive patient experience
• Follow infection control, health and safety, and safeguarding policies at all times

• Candidates must have previous experience working in the NHS.
