A healthcare provider in North London seeks a Health Care Assistant for its Acute Inpatient Ward. This role involves delivering patient care under supervision, guarding their well-being, and assisting in daily tasks. Successful candidates will work under the guidance of registered practitioners and support service users. The position requires effective communication, adherence to care plans, and respect for patients' individual needs.
The HCA role at this level will be allocated and agreed via plans of care, assessed and evaluated by a registered nurse. They will implement and deliver care under the guidance of more experienced registered practitioners, supported by a monitored process of ongoing supervision and support. This role will work with high levels of support and supervision, with adherence to agreed instruction, whilst being guided and supported within Trust procedures and policies. As part of the wider team, the post holder will participate and assist in the delivery of care/services to service users as part of a Mental Health Care Team, under the direct supervision of a registered member of staff. This will involve carrying out practical tasks identified as part of the service user\'s care plan or care pathways.

This may mean working at any location falling under Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey or Islington.
