Job Vacancy: Healthcare Assistant

Location: The Old Downs Residential Care Home in Dartford, Kent

Contracted hours: 22 hours (including every other weekend off, as applicable)

Work flexibility: in accordance with your availability and service requirements

Hourly rate of pay: £12.50

As Healthcare Assistant at Nellsar Care Homes, you will be part of a supportive team, providing outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to residents at The Old Downs Residential Care Home.

Ideal candidate: A caring, compassionate individual who respects personal choice, dignity, and privacy, and enjoys making people happy and supporting their wellbeing.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Focusing care on residents' wishes and preferences
  • Following care plans, assessments, and risk assessments
  • Promoting and safeguarding residents' welfare
  • Maintaining residents' independence, privacy, and dignity
  • Accurate record-keeping using software and handheld devices
  • Adhering to infection control procedures
