MPA Recruitment is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join our well-established team in the Ballymena area. This role is based within a Nursing Home setting, with immediate starts available for successful candidates.

You will work closely with nursing staff to deliver a high standard of care and support to residents during night shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality personal care to residents
• Assisting with mobility and promoting independence wherever possible
• Supporting residents at mealtimes and accurately recording food and fluid intake
• Making beds and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment
• Communicating effectively with residents and helping them feel safe and valued

Essential Criteria

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar care role
• Registered with NISCC (or willingness to apply)
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training
• Willing to undergo an Access NI check

Desirable Criteria

• A qualification in Health and Social Care
