Job description

Alexander Chapel Healthcare is holding interviews for Health Care Assistants willing to work in Devon and Cornwall in NHS hospitals. Interviews will take place at the Alexander Chapel Truro Branch.

You will need to provide a high standard of individualised, quality care to clients and be able to work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.

Documentation Needed:
  • Eligibility to work: A clear copy of passport/ID Card (including front cover and stamps), or your visa/residence permit and passport (if applicable), or a full UK Birth certificate.
  • Proof of Address: No older than 3 months (bank statement, utility bill, council tax bill, etc.)
  • Proof of National Insurance: NI Card, Addressed Payslip, P45, or P60.
  • A Copy of your Current DBS/CRB check: Enhanced and Children and Adult Workforce checks, including checks on the update service.
  • Relevant in-date Training / Qualifications.
  • 5-year employment references: No gaps. If gaps exist, provide a statement explaining the situation along with a professional character reference.

    • Immunity to measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chicken pox), proof of Hep B titre level, and BCG scar.

Additional documentation includes the Healthier Business Employee Medical Questionnaire and Certificate of Fitness - NON EPP.
