Our client, a leading education and residential care provider in Plymouth, Devon, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join their education team. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational needs of students with various health conditions. Working closely with the education team, you will ensure that each student receives the necessary care and attention to thrive in their learning environment. Your empathy, patience, and strong communication skills will be invaluable in building trusting relationships with the students and their families.

Key responsibilities:
- Assisting with the administration of medication and medical procedures as required
- Collaborating with the education team to develop and implement individualised care plans
- Monitoring and recording students' health status and progress
- Communicating effectively with students, families, and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
