An inclusive and forward-thinking secondary academy in East London is seeking a compassionate and skilled Specialist Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term supply basis, starting immediately.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering tailored support to a pupil with significant medical needs, working closely with the wider team to ensure a safe and nurturing learning environment.
  • Delivering stoma care and administering medication.
  • Responding appropriately to medical situations involving central lines or mic-key buttons.
  • Promoting health, dignity, and independence within the classroom.
Requirements
  • DBS registered on the Update Service.

  • Proven experience supporting pupils with complex needs, including SLD and PMLD.
