Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is looking for a Health Care Assistant at Lepton Heights Care Home in Huddersfield. You will support adults with complex care needs and contribute to their wellbeing in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

Full-time positions offer diverse day-to-day tasks, including personal care, mealtime assistance, and engagement in social activities. Training and induction are provided, with opportunities to develop your career within Exemplar Health Care.

Qualifications

• Experience in care settings preferred.
• Experience in care settings is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong communication with residents and families is important.

Responsibilities

supporting people with their personal care

Lepton Heights is just off the A642/Wakefield Road next to The Ashfield Lepton Liberal Working Men's Club.

There are limited parking spaces in the home’s car park. Street parking is available along Wakefield Road.

Public transport to Lepton Heights

The home is a short walk from several bus stops.

Quarry Lane bus stop on both sides(stop IDs: 45020665 and 45024122), which isaccessed by buses 231, 232, and D2 Denby Darts.

Penistone Road stop C bus stop, which is accessed by buses D1 Denby Darts, D3 Denby Darts, and X41.

Waterloo Rise bus stop, which is accessed by bus372 HD Connect.

There's also a train station in the area.

Huddersfield - 2.7 miles away(10minute drive).
