Job description

We are looking for a Health Care Assistant to join our team on Ward 27. The role involves assisting Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team in implementing patients' care plans, as well as undertaking clerical and domestic duties to maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing personal care to patients, such as bathing, toileting, feeding, and caring for the dying.
2. Working in accordance with Trust policies and procedures.
3. Demonstrating duties to new starters and others as appropriate.
4. Observing patients and reporting any changes to a Registered Nurse.
5. Performing basic observations using automated devices for temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen saturations, and respiratory rate.
6. Taking basic patient measurements, such as height and weight.
