An Exciting Opportunity to Join Our Dynamic Research Team!

Liverpool Vaccine Group (LVG) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Research Nurse to join our team at the state-of-the-art 12-bedded Human Challenge Facility (HCF) in Liverpool. This facility focuses on experimental medicine research, testing vaccine and drug safety and efficacy, and plays a key role in developing new treatments and vaccines.

The Role:

As a Health Care Assistant, you will provide clinical care in the HCF, ensuring adherence to study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical care to study participants
• Collecting samples and entering data via electronic Case Report Forms (eCRFs)
• Supporting daily operations including housekeeping and meal preparation
• Working within GCP guidelines
• Collaborating with clinicians and scientists to develop vaccines and treatments

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative research and help develop life-saving vaccines and treatments.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) trained
• Experience in a clinical or caring environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for global health and research
• Availability for out-of-hours work, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays

The role is based at the Liverpool Life Science Accelerator Building, part of the Knowledge Quarter, in a state-of-the-art 12-bed inpatient facility focused on vaccine testing against infectious pathogens.

This is a contingent contract, requiring social hours, evening, and weekend work.
