A leading healthcare provider in Lancashire is seeking dedicated staff to assist nursing staff and deliver personal, effective patient care. The role includes support for patient daily activities and requires a dynamic, motivated individual committed to high standards of care. Training will be provided, and applicants from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Working alongside a trained nurse to deliver safe, personal and effective care is the main responsibility but an enthusiasm to develop yourself within the role is desirable. Further knowledge of basic life support, physiological measurement recording, safer handling and equality and diversity are all areas in which training can be provided for the successful candidate.
The role will involve assisting the patients with their daily activities of living, washing, dressing, nutrition, hygiene, etc to maintain an excellent standard of patient care. You will be required to work on a rotational basis with night shifts included.
The type of candidate we are looking for needs to be dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic and be committed to providing care to an excellent standard, open to change in order that we continually improve. Previous care experience is also desirable ideally gained in a healthcare environment. In house training will be provided. It is essential that the successful applicant is committed to professional development and has the ability to work as part of a team and independently using their own initiative.
