Exemplar Health Care's Hamilton Springs care home in Pontefract is seeking a Health Care Assistant to support adults with complex care needs and help them live their best lives.

You will assist with personal care, meals, and health monitoring, while encouraging social participation and upholding dignity and independence. Induction, buddy support and ongoing training are provided, with a supportive team and career development opportunities.

Contract type: Permanent - Full Time or Part Time, 12 hour shifts, Days and Nights

Rate: £13.71 per hour

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• supporting people with their personal care
• assisting people at meal times
• understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
• encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
• promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
• completing and maintaining care records.
