We are currently looking for Healthcare Assistants to join our team in a beautifully presented care home in Mold, providing care to residents requiring Nursing support and EMI care. This role offers stable, long-term work with consistent shift patterns and fantastic development opportunities. About the Role:

As a Healthcare Assistant, you ll be central to providing the personalised, dignified, and respectful care that each of our residents deserves. Our team supports individuals living with a range of complex needs including physical disabilities, dementia, and mental health conditions related to age.

Your role will include:

  • Assisting residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and toileting

  • Supporting individuals with mobility and maintaining independence where possible

  • Helping with mealtimes and nutritional support

  • Encouraging participation in social activities and companionship

  • Monitoring and recording residents conditions and reporting any changes to senior staff

  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety standards

  • Collaborating with nurses, senior carers, and management to deliver tailored care plans

Whether you're working a day or night shift, your care and presence will directly improve residents wellbeing and quality of life.

Shifts & Work Pattern

We offer consistent 12-hour shifts, ideal for full-time or part-time working preferences:

  • Day shifts typically 8am to 8pm

  • Night shifts typically 8pm to 8am

  • Flexible contracts available depending on your availability and commitments

Whether you prefer the pace of day shifts or the quiet focus of nights, we can accommodate.

What We re Looking For

While previous experience in a similar care environment is highly desirable, it is not essential we welcome individuals with the right values and attitude. Full training will be provided.

  • The ability to follow instructions and care plans

  • A genuine passion for caring for the elderly and those living with dementia

  • Flexibility to work days, nights or a mixture depending on your availability

Experience with dementia or EMI care is a bonus, but not a must if you care, we ll teach you the rest.
