Health Care Assistants – Truro

Join a supportive care team across Cornwall. We’re hiring Health Care Assistants. Full-time and part-time roles available with flexible hours, with career progression and extensive training available.

What You Need

• A friendly, caring and reliable nature
• Full UK driving licence & access to your own car
• Able to work alternate weekends
• Shifts available: 7am–2pm and 4pm–10pm
• A minimum of 3 months care experience within the UK
Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship is available for this role)

Pay Rates

• Weekday (under 2 hours): £13.30 per hour
• Weekday (2 hours or more): £12.80 per hour
• Weekend (under 2 hours): £13.85 per hour
• Weekend (2 hours or more): £13.00 per hour
• Bank Holidays: up to £15.15 per hour
• Sleeping Nights: £60 to £80 per night
• Training and travel time: £12.21 per hour

The Role

You’ll support clients in their own homes to live safely and independently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Personal care (washing, dressing, meals, medication)
• Offering companionship and emotional support to clients
• Assisting with daily tasks and outings
• Being a trusted and familiar presence
