We offer a range of home care and support packages which vary according to client needs including light housekeeping and domestic cleaning packages; personal care and social support; intensive home care and social support for clients with long-term conditions and those with palliative care needs. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and are members of the UK Home Care Association (UKHCA) and the Hertfordshire Care Provider Association (HCPA).

What does this Healthcare Assistant job involve?

Hours of Work: 20 - 37.5 hours per week, 06:00 - 14:00 or 16:00 - 22:00.

  • Providing personal care in all areas (training provided where required) e.g., bathing, toileting, eye drops, administering medication, helping with dressing/undressing, etc.
  • Providing support for individuals who are emotionally frail, depressed, bereaved or experiencing behavioural issues.
  • Taking individuals to appointments, shopping, visits with relatives and other social outings or activities requested.
  • Helping individuals maintain independence, dignity and self-esteem.
  • Respecting all cultures and beliefs expressed by the individual.
  • Providing a sensitive, professional and flexible service on a one-to-one basis.
  • Able to work Monday to Sunday with flexible shifts.
