Job summary
Varang Healthcare is seeking Homecare Assistants to join our community team in Slough. You will support individuals to remain in their own homes, providing daily living assistance and compassionate care.
Full training is provided, with opportunities to complete an NVQ in Health & Social Care. A valid UK driving license and access to your own car are required, as travel between clients is part of the role.
Shifts include mornings, lunchtimes, teatime and evenings, with weekday and weekend options.
Qualifications
- Experience with daily living tasks is helpful but full training is provided.
- Ability to support personal care and daily activities.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and daily living assistance.
- Assist with nutrition and fluids, meal preparation.
- Help with light household chores including laundry.

Varang Healthcare are looking for individuals to join our community team of Homecare Assistants.
We provide care & support to individuals, within the local community, to be able to remain in their own homes.
We currently have vacancies for Mornings & Lunchtimes, Teatime & Evenings, Weekdays & Weekends. Shift Timing are 07am to 02:30pm or 02:30pm to 10pm
If you have experience with or are interested in supporting & assisting individuals with daily living tasks, such as,
- Personal care, including assisting to wash & dress
- Assisting with Nutrion and fluids, including meal preparation.
- Assisting with light household chores, including laundry.
This role can include working with individuals with Dementia and/or those who need End of Life/Palliative care.
- Full training, including induction training and regular training updtaes
- Opportunities to complete an NVQ in Health & Social care
- 24/7 support.
- Paid travel time and mileage allowance.
Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Candidates must have a full valid UK driving license and access to their own car, as this role will require you to drive.
