Job description

We are a large friendly GP Practice situated in Norden, Rochdale. We have approximately 10,800 patients. We have 5 GP partners and 3 salaried GP's, ANP, 3 Practice nurses, Pharmacist and large administration team. We are looking to recruit a hardworking health care assistant with good communication skills in a positive caring environment.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate should be organised and will provide essential support to the patients and health care team, duties will include: taking patients bloods, BP checks performing ECG's, NHS checks, hypertension reviews, offering high quality patient care, accurate documentation.

Job responsibilities

Key responsibilities include explaining procedures, identifying patients, taking blood by venepuncture , labelling samples, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a sterile environment.
