Job summary

Nurses UK is seeking Healthcare Assistants to join our agency roster across Cornwall. We offer flexible shifts (days, nights and weekends) and opportunities to work in hospitals, care homes, and community services with weekly payments. You should have minimum 6 months UK healthcare experience, right to work in the UK, and excellent communication.

DBS on Update Service is desirable but not essential. We provide ongoing training and development, and a supportive recruitment team to help you find

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK healthcare or care home experience (preferred).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude.
• Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Assist with personal care, washing, dressing, and mobility.
• Support patients with eating, drinking, and daily living activities.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions.
• Maintain accurate care records.
• Work closely with Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote dignity, independence, and safeguarding at all times.
