Nurses UK Group in Cornwall is seeking reliable Healthcare Assistants to support hospitals, nursing homes, residential care homes and community services across Cornwall. We offer flexible agency shifts including days, nights and weekends, with weekly payments and ongoing training.

Join an elite team of HCAs and take part in thorough annual training, with transport allowance and opportunities to choose when and where you work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK healthcare or care home experience.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, reliable and professional attitude.
• Up-to-date mandatory training or willingness to complete.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Assist with personal care, washing, dressing, and mobility.
• Support patients with eating, drinking, and daily living activities.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions.
• Maintain accurate care records.
• Work closely with Registered Nurses and multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote dignity, independence, and safeguarding at all times.
