St. Camillus Nursing Centre is a modern, purpose-built Nursing Home that provides a renowned high standard of care 24 hours a day.

We are seeking caring, empathetic, reliable, and experienced Healthcare Assistants who are currently residing in Ireland and must possess a valid visa to work in the Republic of Ireland. Join our multi-disciplinary team on a full-time basis.

Main Activities:

• Supporting the nursing staff in delivering quality, person-centered care tailored to residents' needs
• Getting to know residents' interests and needs, providing attention, support, and companionship
• Promoting residents' mobility, supervising and assisting to ensure optimal mobility is maintained and improved where possible
• Enabling and assisting residents to maintain personal appearance and hygiene needs
• Assisting residents with eating and drinking to achieve physical comfort
• Maintaining high communication levels with residents' families and staff, developing and sustaining good relationships
• Contributing to the upkeep of high cleanliness standards in the Nursing Home
• Supporting the maintenance of health and safety protocols in the Nursing Home

Qualifications/Skills: FETAC/QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare (completed or in progress) Experience working in a healthcare environment with good knowledge of HIQA standards. Excellent communication skills. Ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations. Caring and empathetic nature. Fluent in English, both written and oral.
