You must bereliable and personable and work well within a team with demonstrableorganisational skills and the ability to prioritise a varied workload.

Working under thedirect supervision of the Lead Practice Nurse and strictly in accordance withspecific Practice guidelines and protocols, the Healthcare Assistant willassist the Practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribedprogrammes of patient care.

• Vaccine/coldchain storage, monitoring and recording
• Surgicalequipment and vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation
• Clearing,preparing and re-stocking consulting rooms
• Preparing andmaintaining environments and equipment before, during and after patient careinterventions including assisting GPs during the performance of minoroperations
• Helping to raiseawareness of health and well-being and how it can be promoted
• Assisting withthe collection and collation of data on needs related to health and well-being

We are recruitingfor up to 37.5 hours per week, typically worked Monday to Friday but for lesshours the ability to offer flexibility and cover for sickness and holidays isessential
