Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Health Care Assistant at Walton Grove care home in Oldham. You will support adults with complex care needs, helping with personal care, meals, and wellbeing, while promoting dignity and independence.

Position: Health Care Assistant
Care home: Walton Grove
Location: 1 Guido Street, Failsworth, Oldham, M35 0AL
Contract type: Full and part time hours available, 8am-8pm, 8pm-8am, 10am-10pm – Flexibility and weekend availability needed.
Rate: £13.21 per hour

Our Health Care Assistants support people to live their best lives, whatever that looks like to them.

No two days will ever be the same, but your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

supporting people with their personal care
assisting people at meal times
understanding individual health and wellbeing needs
encouraging and supporting people to take part in social activities, both in and out of the home
promoting choice, dignity, independence and respect
completing and maintaining care records.
