Responsibilities of Our Health Care Assistant
  • Provide anti-discriminatory care and support that values the whole person
  • Respect each customer's choices regarding their care and support
  • Assist with personal care
  • Prompt or assist with medication (training provided), meal preparation, light domestic chores, and companionship
  • Use aids and personal equipment safely, respecting customer dignity
  • Monitor and record visit details on our PASS system
  • Report any changes or concerns to your line manager promptly
  • Manual handling training provided
  • Competitive salary: £9.50/hr during the week, £10.25/hr at weekends, and £15.50/hr on bank holidays
  • Paid travel time between calls at the basic hourly rate (£8.72/hr)
  • Mileage paid at 30p per mile (up to 45p on the Gov. website)
  • Paid for short-notice cancellations
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays after probation
  • Opportunities for career progression and further accredited training (NVQs/QCF/NFCE)
