Health Care Assistant - Doncaster, South Yorkshire, UK

Salary: £24,625 to £25,674 per Annum

Position: Part-time - 18 hours per week, Permanent

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Health Care Assistant to work within our integrated sexual health service.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working within the field of Sexual Health, Contraception, and HIV-related care.

Candidates must possess a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent healthcare qualification and have experience working in a recognised healthcare setting. Candidates should also have an interest in working with a diverse client group of all ages, genders, and nationalities.

The following skills are essential:

1. Working within a healthcare discipline.
2. Venepuncture (training will be provided for the right candidate).
3. Basic IT skills and excellent record-keeping skills.
4. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
5. Undertaking Microscopy (training will be provided for the right candidate).

Full training and support will be provided to acquire the specific skills required for this position within Sexual Health.

This role is primarily based at 3 High Fishergate, Doncaster. The service also operates four part-time community clinics and has an Outreach Service provision.
