Looking for care work that’s a bit more meaningful? Join our national team of Health Care Assistants supporting families across England and Wales.
At Nurslink Homecare, we don’t just support people—we help them thrive. We keep our customers healthy and independent in their own homes, but we also do much more: We help people achieve their dreams. This isn’t just about care—it’s about helping our Care team (that could be you!) build a career they can be proud of; including access to qualifications (QCFs and more), experiencing a variety of styles of care, progressing into complex and clinical teams and more. Be part of something different and shape a career you’ll love.
In Broadstairs, we support two brilliant children—each with their own unique strengths and support needs. One young boy requires 2:1 support due to autism and global developmental delay. He enjoys sensory play, meal prep, and music, and thrives with a team who bring calm energy and clear routines. The second young boy is cheeky, active, and loves dinosaurs, superheroes, and getting outdoors—he lives with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and autism and requires 1:1 support. He enjoys swimming, park trips, and being active, but needs supervision, reassurance, and a consistent, understanding approach.
You’ll need solid experience supporting children with autism and challenging behaviors. Confidence with mobility support and awareness of medical alert signs is essential. Both children benefit from carers who are positive, gentle, and able to set boundaries with warmth and empathy.
You do need a full driving license and access to your own vehicle to work as a Health Care Assistant with us. This is because all our customers live in their own homes in the community.
