Brentwood Care Centre is a warmly regarded care home offering Nursing, Residential and Dementia care for older people. We are seeking Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team and help provide compassionate personal care and engaging activities.

The role involves supporting residents with daily living, promoting wellbeing, and contributing to care plans. Right to work in the UK is required, with full induction and ongoing training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks (washing, hygiene, dressing, feeding).

• Assist residents with mobility and daily living activities.

Brentwood Care Centre is a welcoming, beautifully decorated and purpose-built care home which specialises in Nursing, Residential and Dementia care for older people, and is currently seeking Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and feeding
• Providing physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities or events with residents, both individually and as a group
• Taking responsibility for the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of the residents
• Being aware and participating in the development of resident Care plans and having full awareness of any specialist support needs
• Assisting residents with mobility and support

Qualifications

Although we don’t require someone with any direct qualifications as we provide ongoing training and support, the following attributes would be preferable:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (desirable but not required)
• Ability to organise efficiently and prioritise workloads whilst under pressure
• A minimum of 3 months’ experience in a care environment (preferable)
