A healthcare provider in Blackburn is seeking a Health Care Assistant (HCA) to support nursing staff and deliver patient-centered care. Responsibilities include clinical tasks like blood pressure monitoring and venepuncture, along with maintaining patient confidentiality. TheHealth Care Assistant (HCA) plays a vital role in supporting the nursing teamand wider clinical team within the General Practice. Working under thesupervision of the Clinical Nurse Lead, Practice Nurses, and/or GPs, the HCAwill deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. Duties will be carried out inthe surgery setting, as well as in patients' homes and care/nursing homeenvironments where required.
We are a well-established GP surgery operating across two sites, providing high-quality primary care services to our local community. Our team is large, diverse, and highly experienced, bringing together a range of healthcare professionals dedicated to patient wellbeing and excellence in service delivery.
Our clinical team includes GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Physician Associates, Pharmacists, and a variety of other specialist roles that support comprehensive patient care. We also host additional services on-site to ensure continuity and convenience for our patients.
