Job description

• Hours: Full-time & part-time shifts available (days, nights, weekends)

About the Role We are currently recruiting caring, dependable, and compassionate Care Assistants to work in a residential care home setting in Belfast. You will provide day-to-day support to elderly residents and individuals with additional needs, helping them live with dignity, comfort, and as much independence as possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care such as washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
• Support with mobility, including the use of hoists or walking aids where necessary
• Provide assistance during mealtimes, including serving, feeding, and monitoring food intake
• Offer companionship and emotional support, building strong and respectful relationships
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

• Patience, empathy, and a respectful approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends

Desired Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 6 months of previous experience in a care or support role
• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it)
• Willingness to complete an enhanced AccessNI check and 1 day training
• Right to work in the UK
