A leading healthcare service in the UK seeks a part-time Health Care Support Worker. The role involves assisting with personal care and ensuring a safe environment for patients within the ward. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of personal care procedures and effective communication skills. This role requires a commitment to quality care and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out routine personal care/assist with routine examination duties for patients, in support of (and supervised by), a registered nurse/clinician. The post holder will ensure a person centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain quality strategy. The post holder will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward/department environment.
Duties may vary with the type of ward/department and the degree of patient dependency.

This role will be based in Medicine for Older Adults within University Hospital Monklands.
