- Be the key point of contact and lead on innovation and knowledge for the changing landscape of packaging and recycling. Attend packaging shows, conferences, CSR talks, and undertake comp shops.
- Review all new pack formats for recyclability according to OPRL standards and reduce/avoid over-packing – work with Suppliers/Buyers to improve.
Structural:
- Review and approve all pack formats for structural integrity, brand alignment, and on-shelf presence. Feedback and work with suppliers on any required amendments.
Print & Colour Management:
- Work with Designers/Design Agencies and make recommendations on achieving proposed designs across all pack formats.
- Arrange and lead pre-artwork meetings with Suppliers/Printers to onboard them with new designs/developments.
- Decide how best to colour manage each project, set standards, and review options. Attend print runs on key projects.
- Work with external printers to create proofs and colour standards where appropriate.
- Review and approve pre- and post-production samples for colour/print compliance.
Artwork:

Other:
