Monday - Friday 9am-5pm (Weekends also available)

Hourly rates - £20.42 (group sessions)

Are you passionate about health improvement? Do you enjoy motivating others to lead a healthier lifestyle? Xyla are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our NHS diabetes prevention programme as a Health and wellbeing coach! In this role you will meet with service users who are at risk of type 2 diabetes and equip them with the knowledge and help they need to achieve a healthier future through a series of group coaching sessions.

Every day you will:

  • Conduct initial assessments with service users, taking measurements and running through questionnaires
  • Deliver group sessions covering nutrition, physical activity, and behaviour change
  • Work with service users to help them achieve their goals
  • Maintain data monitoring records for all service users within your caseload in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist the service user engagement strategy to ensure adherence to the programme and minimise dropouts
  • Where required, conduct risk assessments on potential delivery venues.
