Health & Social Care Graduate Teaching Assistant – Make a Lasting Impact

Location: West Yorkshire
Salary: £89.38 – £118 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term Time Only (5 days a week)

Are you a Health & Social Care graduate looking to gain meaningful experience working with children and young people? Do you want to build a career as a Care Worker, Youth Worker, Social Worker, or within the wider education and support sector?

This is an excellent opportunity to step into the classroom and support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEMH, and Speech & Language difficulties. Our partner schools across West Yorkshire are looking for passionate, caring individuals ready to make a difference.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting students with 1:1 and group interventions
• Assisting children in their social, emotional, and academic development
• Helping create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to deliver tailored support
• Encouraging independence and celebrating every success

What we’re looking for:

• A patient, empathetic, and understanding approach
• An interest in working with children with SEND
• Flexibility and adaptability to support different needs each day
• Experience with SEND (personal or professional) is desirable but not essential
• A genuine passion for supporting young people and helping them thrive
