We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Teacher to join our vocational curriculum team. You will inspire students to develop essential knowledge, values, and skills for careers in health, care, and early years settings.

This role is ideal for a passionate educator with experience teaching BTEC, OCR Cambridge Nationals, or similar qualifications at Key Stage 4 and/or Post-16. The position begins in September 2025.

Duties as a Health and Social Care Teacher:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Health and Social Care, ensuring all students can progress regardless of ability.
  2. Support students through coursework, assignments, and exam preparation.
  3. Embed real-world knowledge and professional values relevant to the care sector.
  4. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement effective interventions.
  5. Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent (or working towards it).
  2. Strong understanding of the Health and Social Care curriculum.
  3. Experience teaching at KS4 and/or KS5 (BTEC, OCR, or NCFE).
  4. A caring, student-centered approach focused on positive outcomes.
  5. Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
