Salary: GBP150 - GBP225 per day (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a committed and knowledgeable Health and Social Care Teacher to join a supportive school in Bilborough. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about guiding students through key principles of health, wellbeing, and social care practices.

Responsibilities as a Health and Social Care Teacher:

  • Deliver engaging and informative lessons across Key Stages, aligned with the Health and Social Care curriculum.
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of health principles, communication, safeguarding, and care values.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and external exams, ensuring strong outcomes.
  • Promote a supportive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
  • Contribute to cross-curricular activities and enrichment projects that that relate to real-world care environments.

Requirements for Health and Social Care Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Prior experience teaching Health and Social Care in a school setting is preferable.
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding, care legislation, and curriculum content.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
