We have an opportunity for a Health and Social Care Assessor, considering both qualified and unqualified assessors with senior experience in an Elderly care setting.

Job Details
  • Title: Health and Social Care Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)
  • Location: Home/Field based – managing a caseload across South Devon and Cornwall (must be flexible with travel)
  • Salary: £27,000 starting, up to £30,000 + BONUS
  • Package: Excellent benefits, pension, expenses, and more
  • Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria
  • Own Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above
  • Solid occupational experience as a Team Leader, Deputy Manager, or higher within an Elderly Care setting
  • Assessors award or willingness to work towards
  • Good ICT skills
  • Ability to deliver Functional Skills confidently
  • Full clean driving license and vehicle, flexible with travel
Responsibilities
  • Assess and support learners in Health and Social Care up to Level 5
  • Deliver training and support Functional Skills
  • Manage your diary for timely visits and reviews
  • Maintain learner documentation
  • Support, advise, and motivate learners
  • Overcome learning barriers and adapt delivery
  • Meet KPI targets for visits, paperwork, and admin
  • Participate in learner recruitment to maintain caseload
