Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners in obtaining their qualifications at Level 3 or 5. This role requires delivering assessments and training in Health and Social Care, managing learners' progress and providing motivation. Candidates should hold a relevant assessor qualification, have experience in the field, and be confident in delivering training. Flexibility for travel in Gloucester and the surrounding areas is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5.
• Confident to conduct online remote assessments and face-to-face when required.
• Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5.
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Job Title:Health and Social Care Assessor - Level 5

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across Gloucester and surrounding areas

Salary:£30,000 + Bonus of an additional £5,000 OTE

Type:Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a recognisedAssessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA– but you do not need up to date assessing experience!
• Successful candidates must have experience of delivering Apprenticeships (Previously as Frameworks and looking to return to assessing – or more recently assessed New Apprenticeship Standards) in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5.
• Hold occupational competency in Health and Social Care at Management level(Elderly).
• Confident to deliver Mathsand English Functional Skills.
• Happy to conduct online remote assessments - and face to face when required
• Must have a good level of ICTskills
• Full, clean driving licenceand use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel

Duties include:

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5 (Depending on level of competency).
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Mathsand English to level 2.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organiseand maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
