Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners in their development and help them achieve their Apprenticeship qualifications. The role requires assessing their progress, delivering training, and providing motivation while ensuring all documentation is maintained efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess necessary Assessor qualifications, have experience in the sector, and be flexible with travel across Blackpool and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience of delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5.
• Confident to deliver Functional Skills in Maths and English.
• Must have a full, clean driving licence and flexible with travel.

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5.
• Deliver support for Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.

Job Title:Health and Social Care Assessor - Level 5

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across Blackpool and surrounding areas

Salary:£30,000 + Bonus of an additional £5,000 OTE

Type:Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a recognisedAssessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA– but you do not need up to date assessing experience!
• Successful candidates must have experience of delivering Apprenticeships (Previously as Frameworks and looking to return to assessing – or more recently assessed New Apprenticeship Standards) in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5.
• Hold occupational competency in Health and Social Care at Management level(Elderly).
• Confident to deliver Mathsand English Functional Skills.
• Happy to conduct online remote assessments - and face to face when required
• Must have a good level of ICTskills
• Full, clean driving licenceand use of a vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel

Duties include:

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5 (Depending on level of competency).
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills Mathsand English to level 2.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organiseand maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
