Job Title: Health and Social Care Assessor – Level 5

Location: Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel across Nottingham and surrounding areas

Salary: £30,000 + Bonus of an additional £5,000 OTE

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:
  • Hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA – no recent assessing experience required!
  • Experience in delivering Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5, either through Frameworks or New Apprenticeship Standards.
  • Occupational competency in Health and Social Care at Management level (Elderly).
  • Ability to deliver Maths and English Functional Skills.
  • Comfortable conducting online remote assessments and face-to-face when required.
  • Good ICT skills.
  • Full, clean driving license and use of a vehicle.
  • Flexible with travel.
Duties include:
  • Assessing and supporting learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care at Level 3 or 5.
  • Delivering training and supporting learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Managing your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews.
  • Organising and maintaining documentation on learners’ progress.
  • Supporting, advising, and motivating learners.
  • Overcoming barriers to learning and adapting delivery to meet learner needs.
  • Meeting KPI’s related to visits, paperwork, and administration.

  • Strong organisational skills and effective time management.
  • Confident, professional, and able to inspire and motivate.
  • Quality-driven and willing to go the extra mile for learners.
