Work with a family-run business with experienced and compassionate staff committed to quality care and support.

Your role will include:

  • You will be responsible to the Senior Carer/Care Coordinator and through her/him to the Home Care Manager.
  • To be reliable, punctual, and conscientious in visiting Service Users in their own homes, providing a range of services which require flexibility and working unsocial hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • To uphold the Company’s ethics regarding equal opportunities and Service User choice.
  • Establish a supportive relationship with the Service User and their carers.
  • Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
  • Attend Staff Meetings.
  • Report any concerns related to Service Users, Health & Safety to your line Manager.
  • Assist Senior Carer/Care Coordinators and the Home Care Manager in completing and updating Care Plans.
  • Abide by legislative duties concerning Quality and Safeguarding.
  • Raise concerns regarding Service Users, yourself, or other staff with your line manager.
  • Follow all Company policies and procedures, especially regarding Health & Safety and the no lifting policy.
  • Complete required training to meet legislative requirements.
  • Accurately complete administration procedures and report writing on time.
  • Follow the Company’s dress code, including wearing the uniform and ID badge.
  • Cover for colleagues during holidays or sick leave.
  • Work responsibly in isolated situations with Service Users, reporting hazards and risks to your line manager.
  • Perform any other relevant tasks as designated by the Company.
