Job Description

The Health And Safety Specialist will be responsible for establishing and supporting HSE policies within the business, particularly in ground investigation and construction activities. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and supporting operational activities on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Set up and support HSE policies for the business, enhancing team knowledge in risk assessment and CDM.
  2. Understand and implement HSE operational requirements for ground investigation and construction activities.
  3. Report regularly on safety and operational metrics, supporting a team-based role reporting through the Engineering team.
  4. Attend site visits to support operational activities such as ground investigations.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in ground investigation and groundworks
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and safety training
  • Understanding of construction and facility management
  • Experience in failure analysis testing and HSE compliance
