Salary: £64,365.59 - £74,625.77 per year

Contract Type: Permanent

Position Type: Full Time

Hours: 35 hours per week

About the Role:

Are you passionate about Health & Safety and ready to make a real impact? Join our dynamic team as a Health & Safety Service Manager! This is your chance to lead, innovate, and ensure a safe working environment within Social Work Services.

What You'll Do:

  1. Lead the Team: Manage and inspire our Health & Safety team to ensure compliance across our service.
  2. Drive Excellence: Develop and maintain our Health & Safety Management System, ensuring all legislative and policy requirements are met.
  3. Be the Expert: Provide specialist advice to senior management and liaise with external bodies like the Health and Safety Executive.
  4. Innovate: Lead projects related to Health and Social Care Integration, introducing new ideas and solutions.
  5. Engage: Prepare and present reports on Health & Safety matters, and maintain relationships with Trade Unions and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

  1. Qualifications: NEBOSH diploma or equivalent, and Chartered Membership of IOSH.
  2. Experience: Proven track record as a Health & Safety manager with strong legislative knowledge.
  3. Skills: Excellent communication, analytical skills, and stakeholder influence.
  4. Desirable: Additional qualifications and experience with partner agencies and elected members.
