This is a full-time, permanent position. Applications are invited for the post of Health and Safety Officer (Business Partner) within the Health and Safety office, in the Health, Safety, and Business Continuity (HSBC) Directorate of Professional Services.

The Health and Safety Office provides operational support across university departments, offering effective and proactive health and safety guidance. The role involves working as a Business Partner to effect cultural change, requiring excellent influencing and negotiating skills, and collaborating with other health and safety officers to provide comprehensive advice.

We seek an experienced health and safety professional with at least a level 3 qualification, demonstrable knowledge of managing travel risk, including international travel. Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills are essential. The role emphasizes building relationships internally and externally to promote legal compliance and best practices within the Higher Education sector.
