Health and Safety Officer

Location: Midland Metro Ltd, Wednesbury Depot, Potters Lane, WS10 0AR
Salary: £42,000 per annum, possible increase following union negotiation(s)
Contract: 18 months FTC, Full time

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace.
2. Develop and implement health and safety policies.
3. Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices.
4. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes.
5. Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a health and safety role.
2. NEBOSH or equivalent qualification.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
