Health and Safety Officer

My client based in St Ives Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for a H&S and Compliance Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Looking for a highly motivated and experienced Health, Safety and Compliance Officer who is passionate to grow with a business and who is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

MUST LIVE WITHIN COMMUTABLE DISTANCE OF ST IVES CAMBRIDGESHIRE.

THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED POSITION FULL TIME. Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm.

Salary - £28-40,000 DOE

The Key Responsibilities Will Be:

1. Motivate staff to adhere to health and safety practices
2. Performance monitoring and compliance
3. Collating statistical information for health and safety management
4. Evidence compliance within auditing
5. Undertake inspections on site and working at heights
6. Present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets
7. Development of a robust management system and assisting the directors in finding the right strategy for H&S moving forward and supporting the Senior Staff to lead the H&S initiatives.
