We’re on the lookout for a talented, passionate and people-focussed Health and Safety Manager to support our property repairs maintenance teams in delivering best-in-class safety service and culture across a diverse portfolio of over 50,000 homes, stretching from Hereford in the west to Lincolnshire in the east of the Midlands.
In this exciting new role, you will be part of a high profile, high performing Health and Safety team, working closely with colleagues and managers to support the delivery of essential repairs and maintenance services for more than 120,000 customers.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the Head of Occupational Health and Safety, you’ll drive and support the delivery of health and safety excellence across Platform Property Care by developing and implementing safe working practices, robust risk assessments, safe systems of work, effective training, and coaching.
You’ll lead on health and safety inspections, accident investigations, assurance and health and safety promotions while collaborating closely with service heads, managers, and teams to embed a strong safety culture and ensure the robust and effective safe working practices and behaviours across our repairs and maintenance operations.

Some things we need from you:
While this role is home-based, you’ll regularly travel to Group offices and other locations to conduct inspections, site checks, and toolbox talks as needed.
