Astute's Power Team is partnered with a market-leading energy company to recruit a Health and Safety (H&S) Manager for their Energy from Waste Power Station in Runcorn, Cheshire.

The fundamental Health and Safety Manager role offers a salary of £49,600 - £58,000 (DoE) plus up to 10% Bonus and benefits.

• Reporting to the Plant Manager, responsible for auditing and ensuring compliance with licenses, H&S Regulations, and specific working plans.
• Reviewing monitoring data, providing guidance, corrective actions, and preparing reports for external and internal bodies in compliance with permits.
• Liaising with the SHEQ team to ensure best practices and timely reporting of incidents and accidents.
• Chairing regular safety meetings to discuss issues and resolve outstanding items at the EFW plant.
• Managing actions to prevent environmental breaches or incidents.
• Maintaining high standards of management systems at optimum levels.
